That's very well written. It' s good to come across something that gives a nuanced view of religion in Dylan's recent songs. Or for that matter, a nuanced view of his views of anything, since the practice of trying to put Bob in boxes still seems to proceed apace. Musically - and only musically - Mr. Dylan is conservative verging on > classicist, holding on to rootsy forms; "Modern Times"
