Bud, Since you know how to open it in Access, why not just delete the records yourself? Assuming you need instructions on how to delete rows: First, create a new access database and link to your IM database. (Right Click on the tables pane to bring up the link tables menu) This will insulate you from version conflicts. ( IM's databse is in Access97 format (JET3.5) while newer versions of

you are right. I actually set the Sansa's "USB mode" to MSC, rather than MTP, and (FAT16) re-formatted my Sansa in Windows XP Explorer. then it worked just fine, but had to re-load all of my tunes. oh, well. teaches me to always save stuff to playlists. thx, BadAndy.
