Hi Amanda, Wow. Nice job. I thought you handled the timeframe just fine. The story could have been set in an era, at least within the last fifty years. I have two challenge entries. I'm hoping to get a revision pass on the other this evening and get it up as well--time is slip sliding away. Don't feel compelled to rush in and comment, Alex. I know you're busy! This challenge has been tough for me. All my ideas about what it might have been like to live (or at least to be an adult) in the 70s are mere conjecture.
