Thanks Bo - that's it! It works. I had to uncheck the password protected sharing and it works. Great. I can now use some of non-Vista software and print out from it. Assuming my host is properly protected with AV and firewall and I don't connect to the Interent through the guest, there is presuambly no need to secure the guest (with AV)? Thanks. Think I might just be getting out of depth now! I'll try to the firewall settings tonight. What you say about using a NAT router scares me a bit. I've set up the network setting in VPC to use NAT sharing. I wasn't planning on accessing the internet from the guest xp no do I want to connect to the internet from the guest via the host. However, shoudl I be worried if my host is

If you share the same message store, the password will not be remembered. The password encryption mechanism uses the user_name as part of the encryption key. To get separate message stores to work well: Click on Tools, then Accounts, then your email account, then Properties, then Advanced. If there is no check mark in the box before Leave a copy of messages on server, click on this box and then Apply. It's also a good idea to select one of the options for eventually deleting the messages from the server, to keep it from getting so many of your
