an update: --I replaced the carb with one I got off ebay and the old scoot has been running great for the last month. I'm riding it daily commuting to work (about 14mi per day total). Fingers crossed... --crashing hurts! I was messing around in a dirt parking lot and laid it down. That gave me a new perspective on hitting the ground. I would NOT want to do that on asphalt, at speed
