If you mean the Notification Area on the right, you can right click the icon and select Hide when minimized. If will appear only when OL is opened. ...best of my knowledge the SideNote icon is the only one that mysteriously...the checkbox for showing the icon in the tray, closing Options then reopen and recheck the checkbox. How about other icons in the TaskTray (icon tray)? Is it only ON which magically disappears... puts it back in the tray and all goes along fine, ...(be it the energy/battery icon, move hardware or the loudspeaker ...
