That's because nobody has taken the time to see what it really is. One can do a quick check on any EXE or DLL by right clicking on its name and examining the properties. A reputable software developer will identify the program properly. The slimeballs will not. And, yes, some slimeball may try to disguise the program by putting seemingly legit information in it... hpwuschd2.exe - HP software updates, which happen about once every century. Get rid of the dumb thing via MSCONFIG. Completely. Forever. Why is it that each and every software vendor puts a program in startup to check for updates? Adobe Acrobat does it. Sun's Java does it. And on and on and on.
