Hi, I just tried a beer from Elysian Brewing called the Avatar Jasmine IPA and was wondering how to make something similar. Has anyone used jasmine before? Any comments or tips? Are dried jasmine flowers the same as what jasmine tea would be? Their website has a pretty good write-up. Can anyone make some suggestions on a recipe to try? Man that's just the tip of the iceburg....Try hopping the Mash and the HOT water tank! LOL it's a blast. you have to fix your pH though in the Hot water tank though. do a First wort hop addition, hop countinously and/or at a schedule, do a hopback before and after the counter flow chiller, and hop in the secondary (if you do one) and hop in the keg....go even the extra step and make a "Randell"
