Steve, When was Yankee Stadium rebuilt? I went there in the spring of 1971 and distinctly remember see steel "I" beams with the name "CARNEGIE" cast into them. I forget if this was before, or after, the stadium was rebuilt, but if it was AFTER, than I'm not sure I would agree that the stadium was "gutted". Carnegie steel was not around then.
