We just had a fascinating discussion this past weekend as part of a series of exercises we did with some existing works of textual IF and I figured I'd share if anyone is interested. What ended up happening is that people really felt the following games captured at least a hint of the potential with textual IF: 'Varicella', 'Slouching Towards Bedlam', 'Necrotic Drift', 'Rameses', and 'Babel'
