The fact that you said you had a static IP from your ISP is a good sign. You may have a "business" Internet account which shouldn't block any ports. -- Merv Porter [SBS-MVP] ============================ "Rick" <Rick@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:D7652FAB-8616-4F32-9DD8-19AF83FDE486@microsoft.com... >I hope not but will investigate. That may not be good....ATT may be blocking port 25 for residential Internet lines. Let's get the MX and A records set up properly, get the port forwarding correct and then re-run CEICW to see where we stand with receiving email directly to your server. -- Merv Porter [SBS-MVP] ============================ "Rick" <Rick@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A9FA3F3E-70BE

Also, are you connecting the SBS server to the Internet using an ATT residential Internet connection? -- Merv Porter [SBS-MVP] ============================ "Merv Porter [SBS-MVP]" <mwport@no_spam_hotmail.com> wrote in message news:O9hAJthtIHA.4876@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... Well Rick you may have me at a loss. Go ahead and fix that A record for mail.adf-framing.com. Let me ask you this, can you send from one user to another inside your LAN? IE from administrator@adf-framing.com to felicia@adf-framing.com? When I do a SMTP test to your server I get this; (I x'd out your IP) OK, connected to 2xx.xx.xx4.48... < 220 adf-framing.com ESMTP > HELO edit.dnsvr

I should note I also try from my home computer and receive the same message. -- Thank you, Richard "davidgold" wrote: Forget the ISP Control Panel. Where exactly do you see that error? Doesn't sound like a bounce-back. Does that user have felicia@adf-framing.com as one of the email addresses? By that I mean open Server Management, click Users and dbl-click that user, then
