Of course! I've stayed in The Dalles! When my kids were about three and nine, we drove up the coast. We found a wonderful place to stay in The Dalles. I think it called itself a motel, but it was actually a rather large property, with lots of greenery, and separate houses. The houses were old, but fully equipped. We loved the place! Several years later we went back, and were amazed
