The original Halo reminded me of "The Da Vinci Code", or even a dodgy kebab. I just had to finish the whole thing, yet even as I was playing it, was thinking "this really isn't that good.... oh, OK, just one more screen...". The levels were just astonishingly cookie-cutter; I'd surprised if the developers don't have a Halomatic level generator. Things that were meant to be oh-so-revolutionary
