we had such a one yesterday. When Lady Wife's father dies [bless him] her brother [his son] disappeared complete with family, and since then she has been trying to find him. she thought she had an address for him so she sent a card. same first name and family name. it came back yesterday from that address with a very nice note. 'sorry not us. thought we would tell you so you will not be wondering

Little town called Bellwood in Pennsylvania. Except for the complete decay (last time I looked (1993) of the downtown area, and the addition of a new railroad overpass connecting the north end of town to the south end, there has been no major change in the town in more than 75 years. We lived in an apartment over the store. The store was small compared to standards of today but it sold everything from baby powder to shotgun shells. Gasoline out in front, kerosene and feed out in back. Oiled
