We all know when we need fix something , we rely on an expert to quote the cost of fixing stuff . If we are a bit dumb they can and do rip us off big time I know of TV, and car and washing machine repairs that could be fixed for $10 dollars are quoted as 200 dollar problems , often based on the repair mans opinion of your financial ability to pay rather than the actual cost of repair The
