It appears that you have dns issues, make sure that the dc's forward all external request to your ISP and that your DC's only reference the AD dns servers. Check your reverse zones as well. From each dc do the following from a cmd prompt dnslint /ad /s "ip address of your dc" Description and download http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321045 If this doesn't help post an ipconfig

-You said that you added this server recently, were you trying to replace an old one? Hi Malu, I had do this on the SP2 PRO Client. But haven't install this for the Server and XP PRO SP3 (I had see the file in SP3 is newer than the SP2 PRO that using this patch) But the SP2 PRO / SP3 client still sometime need waiting 30 second. Hi all, I experience the slowly access shared resources by Windows Explorer on the client computer that both using Windows XP Pro with SP2 and SP3 ... The two server are both domain based DFS with W2K3 R2 x64 with SP2 already ..... I have had setting up the DFS with DFS and DFS-R, so both server also have backup (E.G. two root path, two target etc, and auto replication the files both
