You have to listen to a short commercial but at $1.00 or more a pop for directory service it's worth it, especially if you're using your cell phone away from home and need directory assistance. Well yes it won't be free to everyone before people start grumbling but it can be free to a lot of people quite simply. You can of course get the information on the internet but I've found the site quite often doesn't work to find out the times of the trains. Then you have to ring the number and did you know that not only do you get charged for it but National Rail Enquiries actually make
