I have a yamaha p-250 which I think is a fantastic instrument. It has recently been replaced with the cp300 which is identical to the 250 with a few more bells and whistles. I have played on the p-120 and it is very close to the p-250 in touch. The reason I went with the 250 is because of it's great rep and more voices. If you are buying a keyboard strictly for piano, the 120 is the best choice
Your old keyboard is obviously non touch sensitive. Most of new keyboards come with touch control that you can set on any sensitivity level you want. -- -- Serge Stodolnik. I need to back up a bit and say that I am working on a Mac Mini, giving me the option of working in Mac OS or Windows XP. I have been experimenting with GarageBand.
