Package: libplasma1 Version: 4:4.0.0-2 Severity: normal The initial icons I had on my KDE3.5 desktop keep being added to the icons i have on the desktop now on every login. So if I'm too lazy to delete the icons, after a couple of logins I get tons of identical icons on my desktop. These seem to be icons that got "transferred" from the KDE3.5 installation because such broken desktop icons

Download and install "Tweakui" (from Microsoft, free). It has a "repair" function, and under that one of the options is to rebuild all icons.
