Thanks for posting this interesting exerpt (of the 5th, not 4th mvt., by the way). This music is very near and dear to me. The orchestra itself seems rather raw at times. The horn flubs a note in the shepherd's call at the beginning, and the first violins are not always in pitch together. But the lower strings come through quite powerfully and effectively, and ultimately the interpretation
