Does anybody know whether there is such a beast? The reason I ask is that I have to control some industrial equipment via a serial connection. I would like to use a Mac mini, but the USB-Serial adapters I've tried aren't working with that particular equipment, due to timing problems, I assume. My hope is that FireWire would maybe work.
