Is there a firewall between the machine and the dc's? Using either Netdom or ADMT, you could accomplish all this without visiting a computer, however that sounds like they least of your problems. If you'd like to move file servers, permissions, user accounts, etc. ADMT is your only hope. Also, unless you have roaming profiles that you can migrate to the new domain, when you join the computer to a new domain and you login with a new user account
