It just did it again. I had to end task as I couldn't just close the project. it was using 800MB again, and my pf usage was @ 1.5Gb. when I ended visual studio, it went back down to 400Mb and my system became usable again. I have been using vs2005 and sp1 for months now without these issues. I have absolutely no addins. I have IPWorks .NET v6, which added a toolbox for me. I have an xp pro laptop with a core 2 duo and 1gb ram.
