Well - I see the same behaviour and that with a build system with a CD-ROM. I have implemented a few MDT 2007 with success but both the MDT 2008 installations I have made excibit the error you have described or continuosly reboots before Sysprep. Normally I populate the SysprepMassStorage section of Sysprep with the drivers I need and that have worked fine so far. With MDT 2008 I have tried

Not sure where you got that info from, but my D-Link AirPlus DWL-650+ is definitely 802.11g with support for G+. I get excellent connection quality and g speeds in both Edgy and XP.
