As this Project is coming together, I did notice one little problem, and made an observation about Transcode speed from Encore2 with the DL to the AE Project/Composition. I added a very short (00;40;00) title Sequence from PP2. This was Black Video with three 12 sec. Titles (no animation, no Effects), followed by Black Video. Dip-to-Black Transitions were used between all Clips. A matching soundtrack

Mylenium, Thank you for the reply. I'm still waiting on reports from the field and also a new workstation, before jumping to CS4, so it's gotta' be CS2 for me. Also, this Project was originally done in P6.5 Mac and I've been able to Import it into CS2 PC, so I'd not wish to do another migration on it. So far, the Ctrl-a. c & v, has worked fine and Encore2 does bring the DL's from AE in fine.

FYI; can you please investigate and/or report to the developers? If you are already aware of this problem but do not yet have a fix, please mark the port BROKEN in the appropriate case, so that users do not unexpectedly encounter it. See http://pointyhat.freebsd.org for the full log. Thanks, -erwin ----- Forwarded message from User Ports-i386 <ports-i386@FreeBSD.org> ----- Date

Doug, What Stanley said. He's also been following the PGC Error threads, and has reported some "fixes," or at least workarounds. Though I have not seen the problems with spaces in file names, Neil Wilkes has experienced many with various Sonic-based programs. I'll retain my normal workflow, but at least know where to look, should that error bite me. I only hope that some of the many, who posted

OK, so much for that idea. I too run a Wacom Intuous II and a Logitech cordless mouse (keyboard disconnected and stuck back in box). Unfortunately, I only have CS2 Production Studio, and have not encountered your problem. In Encore2, the Layers Panel works fine, though I normally do any editing of Menus in PS. Wish that I could help, but I cannot even troubleshoot in CS3 for you. Good luck

? Faire quelque

Hi all, I produced my first video with PPro2. I created a timeline during 51 min. Reading other posts of this forum, it seems to me that the best think to do now is to export as an avi and then use Encore2 to produce DVD. Is it ok? But I have a small question: yesterday I was looking at the options od adobe media encoder and I saw "Noise reduction"? What is it? When does you have to use it? Is it
