... on duty in the dining room. She maintained I 'Would sit there until I ate it'. I maintained that there was no way I'd eat that green, over-cooked mess called cabbage. After an hour, she let me go. I have never eaten cabbage since (or before for that matter). A similar hatred. As a child it was a very effective emetic. I can (just) do spring cabbage these days.
