I successfully downloaded the trial version of nvidea and still no picture in WMP 9. Wish it would have worked! Hi all, This all started for me in WMP11 too somewhere after December 1st. Found a work-around by resetting the system date back to before December 1st 2006 and it plays my DVDs now. Could be a problem with an outdated security cert or something like that. I can't play DVDs using Media Player 11 - I dont have the CODEC. So I download a free CODEC (in fact lots of em) - "XP Codec Pack 2.0.6". I run Windows Media Player 11 and it still wont play a DVD, telling me "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder and Video Card. There is a multi-codec called K-Lite (search Google), I don't have any idea of what actual codecs are included. Some programs will try to download the missing codec. Window Media Player often can find a working codec, but not always
