I've been working on this for a week now, unusual for me with a short story. I keep writing and stopping, not only for the research, but because I lose heart that it's any good. To qualify that; it isn't that I think the story so far is bad, it's that I wonder if the plot is so familiar to others that it strips all mystery from the writing.
