Sorry, just saw Spamalot and I'm a bit Pythonized. In any case, I've just discovered something real annoying about IDCAMS BACKUP/RESTORE. It seems that if an object being backed up is empty, the BACKUP routine places an entry on the backup media but of course, there is no data.
