I noticed there seems to be a hue control that you can attach to the surfaces ... a shirt (made with blue & shades) and then hue it to be green, red, purple or .... I have everything else sorted but failing to attach the hue control of directdraw to the surface... anyone know how its done?

IDirectDrawColorControl is a relatively obscure interface of DirectDraw, which in itself is not that common any more, and you are working with the managed version, which is even less common.
