Keith, Unfortunately, I found that the Cisco VPN drills so deep into Windows that the only solution I had was to recover from a backup from Windows Home Server. I tried using system restore and that didn't bring it back. I even tried changing the order of preferred networks in "Network Connections". Nothing worked at all. So if you have been keeping full backups of your Vista install,
First step is to uninstall the Cisco VPN client. If you still have an issue 1. type cmd in the Start Search box, right-click cmd.exe, click Run as administrator, and then press Continue. 2. Type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt, and then press ENTER. On Sun, 7 Sep 2008 19:56:10 -0700, Keith Townsend <KeithTownsend@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: I have not yet tried
