Thanks John, I have read the guide, very big help, but I still have question: When I have been asked for data file location, if I choose the default "Cluster Group", then the only location is Q(Quorum), obvious this is NOT right; if I pick "Group 0", I can get my planed S drive as location, but since there is only S in "Group 0", no any other resources, I am afraid the S drive can NOT failover

I need to build a SQL cluster. The MSDTC is NOT I added in - The SQL 2005 installation auto create and add it to "Cluster Group". I have two shared disks, Q for quorum, S for SQL 2005. Susan Bradley post mentioned before is very nice about solving this problem. Even if the other SQL instances are not eating up much memory you may still want to follow the procedure for them. Deppending on the amount of RAM that you have, setting the max memory for 128Mb or 256mb may be a good choice. I recommend doing this for ALL SQL server instances (SBSMonitoring, Firewall, WSUS, and Sharepoint
