The problem with your point is that Pelosi's behavior is contemporaneous with Bush's attempts to seize the Constitutional War Making power from Congress. Clearly, George Washington would have no truck with either Pelosi or George W. Bush. Indeed, Washington would have no truck with anyone who attempted to change other nations cultures. The President said he would review his policy, and make some changes. Has he actually changed anything, or simply intensified what was already failing? He appears to have rejected the suggestions of the study group headed by his Father's more successful Secretary of State.
