There are no entries, apart from the default in hosts file. Not sure what you mean about a clean boot. Are you suggesting a reboot? No I am not running Zone Alarm. I did have AVG 7.5 installed. I did have VMWare Workstation 6 installed, I did have a Nortel VPN client installed. I've uninstalled all of those but its made no difference. Once I am back on the internet, I am going to have to spend a good while reinstalling software to make the machine useable again.
