I was wondering if it is a big deal that Windows 2000 does not have a patch for the day light savings time? So I have been told. I have patched my Novell servers and xp machines. Will this effect the time on the 2000 machines or wil they get their times from the servers anyway? Or if anyone knows where I can find a patch for this I most certainly appreciate it. We are running in Central

I run "net time" on the computers with updated time, I got: N:\>net time Current time at \\myDC is 3/11/2008 10:27 AM However on those computer not updated, I got:" N:\>net time Current time at \\myDC is 3/11/2008 9:21 AM Local time (GMT-07:00) at \\myDC is 3/11/2008 10:21 AM The command completed successfully. So, I upgraded it to the latest 8.0 version which is 8.0.12 and below you will see the output

When it comes to FAP, things are not always as they seem. On the East Coast, the FAP-free period supposedly extends from 3 a.m. through 6 a.m. on a normal night. Theoretically, in the spring, when daylight savings time occurs at 2:00 a.m., the clock jumps forward to 3 a.m. Therefore, on the East Coast, on the night when the time changes in the spring, the FAP-free hours should begin at 2 a.m
