First I want to comment on this game being played at all. I know they have the two games today already scheduled but the risk to players getting injured seemed high. It's just too bad there wasn't another option. The rain outs throughout MLB is going to make figuring out the standings interesting today though isn't it? It could go from the Sox being 4 games out to them being tied for first

Boy this thing with the team with the best record getting to choose whether they start with 3 or 4 days rest sure does make setting up the post season rotations interesting. Or does it?   How will it affect the Sox or Angels (It looks like it will be them.) rotation plans. I'm surprised that no one has had anything to say about Colon and his refusal to come back from home and the Sox subsequent

Last night things went just fine. Until the end of the first half inning that is. Then it straightened out around about the 6th. inning or so.   Of course by then it was well too late. Well I'm back from a very long day in Dartmouth, one which involved a major decision on my part (Hint: I wore my Bay t-shirt thinking it didn't matter if I offended the neurologist, a Yankee fan remember, because he wasn't going to get another shot at my brain. Turns out that may have been a mistake. <G>), which I'll detail in a separate post. And thanks again to Nate for covering for me once

A question about this consecutive sold out streak. How can they be sold out every night if the total attendance is different every night? I imagine there's some simple answer but it escapes me. Knowing the weather report here in central Vermont I had a feeling that Tuesday's game would be questionable at best. And that's what it sounds like. Thunder storms late in the day possibly impacting

Boy last night was the quintessential (I think that's the right word. Must stop using big words I'm not sure the meaning of. <G>) Wakefield. Got the first 5 batters ne faced out then couldn't get another out among the next 11 or so. I think this was his second start after coming off the DL. So does this mean we have to be concerned with Beckett against Tampa Bay. That's not a serious question
