If the file was making you do new things, not less, I'd be inclined to agree with you, but that is a rather deceptive premise. The original intent of the assignment was for you to fill out this file as well, which is why those functions were removed. seeing that compiler.py was added at 18:30 PST (http://play.cs.berkeley.edu/wiki/cs164/fa07/index.php?title=Project_5&diff=534&oldid=529) the day the assignment was due, and questions posted about how to get existing code working before weren't fully solved for a while, I think it would be fair to get an extension. Not everyone has the luxury of a free block of time 5.5 hours before the due date

I created a bunch of the SVN repos this evening, but instr services decided to enable ports for cs162 instead of cs164, which doesn't help us much. As the repos are there, I'm hoping they'll be publicly exposed sometime tomorrow morning. I'll also try to get the testing oracle up tomorrow night. For now, if you're working from within the dept, you can try connecting to /home/cc/cs164/

As the repos are there, I'm hoping they'll be publicly exposed sometime tomorrow morning. I'll also try to get the testing oracle up tomorrow night. For now, if you're working from within the dept, you can try connecting to /home/cc/cs164/
