Hi, Nick summed it up very well. The text file you get from MIDI-Ox will simply be a long list of numbers. Determining what number corresponds to which parameter is a very difficult task. That's why people write patch editors. Unless you are willing to put in a lot of time on it, it's not practical. You will essentially be rewriting the patch editor. While I agree with most of everyones discontent with the upgrade path being mainly plugs, I still have hope. I don't like reaper. I don't like the flow, well, I'll leave that there. I have no doubt my needs are much less than most. I already own Dim Pro and Sonar 7 Producer. I use all the plugs and have no 3rd party plugs so it works for me $$. But, I do not need any more plugs so.......
