tango; I have experienced similar problems; where I literally had to reconfigure the whole enchalada. One thing for sure is IE7 (I have the same browser) does offer the recent network diagnostics provided through the Tools menu. Just click on IE and when it is not able to show the page choose the Tools as an option, or the network diagognostics option should be available. Also try the progams

Check device manager and see if any hardware conflicts show, particularly USB. We use IBM T43's at work and I've seen wireless cards behave like this when USB ports are failing, or perhaps needing to update the controller. Somehow on T43's the wireless is USB related, so i'm thinking THAT could be your issue. Steve "Steve" <Steve@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4D3BAB18

I have purchased 2 VX3000 LifeCams. The camera's work fine on my desktop but whe I install the camera to my IBM ThinkPad T42, it disonnects my wireless radio and I lose connectivety. I have a new computer with Vista Home and an existing Windows 2000 & XP systems. From the Vista systems I can ping and browse both the 2000 & XP system. From the 2000 and XP systems pings time out and I am not able to connect to the shared Vista printer. I am on an old DI-704 Dlink, one that's not even supported anymore but it has always been reliable. All three systems are DHCP clients

Thanks. I have someone who has informed me that they ordered 3 new machines with Vista Home. Before I sent them the bad news (about lack of connectivety to their server domain) I wanted to make sure that Vista Home had the same limitation as XP home. Hey guys, We currently have a network with Windows Server 2003 Domain Controllers. Our Primary DC also servers as our terminal services licensing server. I've cleared some old invalid server entries out of the configuration and would like know know how to effectively test connectivety to the licensing server to ensure it's operating properly. Is there an easy way to do this? Thank

Hillary (or her people) have posted a couple questions on the ANSWERS forum in the past. If it is not her personally, it IS her campaign and done with her approval. It is NOT A SPOOF. She is trying to build a constituency with the nation through internet connectivety. Her announcement last week of forming a committee was a start.. but poorly done. They never made her announcement
