Every year a bill which the local gambling lobby supports goes fwd in the legislature. They hire some previous legislator or administration official...in Hawaii if our economy is based on casinos? It's a falacy that casino gambling is always good for our economy-- not to mention it does great harm to our society by luring compulsive gamblers into bankruptcy and crime to cover their losses.
