so i'm rereading all of the deryni books...and as i'm reading saint camber, i realize something....what camber did could only have been pulled off during cinhil's reign.... if it was any other haldane, what camber did by taking on cullen's form could not have been done... it was odd to realize that the later haldane kings were more aware/paranoid/perceptive enough with the truth reading ability
