Maestro Bill, Many thanks for your work with another interesting Goosens artifact. I wonder if any other vintage listeners share my mixed impressions of EG's efforts - on some occasions quite tightly organized, energized and compelling; while at other times....feh. The Cincinnati scene has long been a vibrant one - I wonder if any early "May Festival" recordings were done in the handsome

While I'm on the Cincinnati story bit, my room-mates and I lived at 47 Erkenbrecher Ave, in 1948, just across from the Cincinnati Zoo and just a few houses up from Vine St. which leads up a long hill from downtown.
