Last year I picked up from the 'free' basket a copy of Forbes 'Special issue' for October 6, 2003, called "The 400 Richest People in America" and perused almost all of it. The "born rich" essay is covered second, after I summarize the story about "the richest". First, the average wealth of the top 400 is $2.2 billion, each.
