If it says Professional, you likely installed it wrong (as it should/would say Media Center). Sounds like you entered a XP Professional key and as a result, the MCE bits didn't install. -- Jason Tsang - Microsoft MVP Read my blog for the latest in Media Center topics (and other topics that interest me) http://jtsang.blogspot.com More information by me http://jtsang.mvps.org http

It's still there... the only reason it wouldn't be there if the system was Windows XP Home Edition (though you seem to indicate that that isn't the case). -- Jason Tsang - Microsoft MVP Read my blog for the latest in Media Center topics (and other topics that interest me) http://jtsang.blogspot.com More information by me http://jtsang.mvps.org http://www.classicsunveiled.com

Microsoft Remote Keyboard for Windows XP Media Center Edition v1.0 works perfectly with Vista.I have used it and it worked just fine. But I feel that the mouse pointer is bit painful. I don't know why the keyboard and the mouse are not working in your case.If the keyboard is under the warranty then you must ask the dealer to check the problem. regards, S.Sengupta[MS-MVP] Sam wrote
