You cannot copy the value from the picklist to a field not on the form. If you wanted to do it behind the scenes, you would have to use a callout, but then you risk infinite looping because you are updating the account record on update of the account record. I have not implemented the web service approach yet. It's likely to take me a while so I'll leave that until I have more time. I do have independent picklists on each form with 'on save' code to copy the value to the original country field. However, the only way I have found to do this is to expose the original field to the form also so: 1] Can I copy the value selected in my picklist to
