HI Brian, all, Your writings brought back memories of my local Wireless shop located in Middlesbrough. It was run by a chap called, Ben Williams, this was also the name of the shop. I remember going in there as a small lad who had discovered 'Wireless', and more specifically Amateur Radio by hearing Amateur operators on the 'Trawler Band'. I asked him for a "Cats Whisker" and his reply
