Why not just go there on an evening they most likely will have something happening and talk to someone? I'm sure they will be open to talking to you about membership. And, if you are military maybe it's cheaper for you for membership at least at the Legions. Let us know what you find out about the cultural centres, I've always wanted to go to a few to check out their food and culture.
