To further clarify: - The library libmx.lib is copied from the Matlab desktop to the Visual Studio desktop, where the C++ program (e.g. test.cpp) resides. - matrix.h (again copied from Matlab desktop) is included in test.cpp - mxArray is declared in the test.cpp (e.g. mxArray *myArray;). - Few matrix APIs are invoked. - test.cpp does complies, but doesn't link.
