    <description><![CDATA[...> 2 anna bit cars, which equate to units as the other car is useless   without its mate (well, two cars properly bombed and 1 slightly   damaged which was used as the template for the two cars rebuilt).  One Circle line train consists of 3 2 car units.    As with the Irish bomb in the 70s. Yes, as that is normally the only part of the District Line they serve  (technically <b>C77s</b> rather than C69s).    <b>C77s</b> were introduced to allow C stock to cover that bit of the  District, but there was never any separation...of fleets.  The first C  stock on the District was C69, and the first <b>C77</b> stock went into  service on the Hammersmith.<br><br>
