i have been having the same problem. i updated my norton subscription as soon as the problem hit (too little too late unfortunately). I'm looking forward to trying the below steps to see if it helps. One question, is the "NOD" software you referred to "Norton"? If not, do you feel the Norton is money poorly spent? As background, I'm a neophyte internet user. only items I spend time
